Multiple teams have already called the Eagles to inquire about all three of their quarterbacks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Not huge news, but of note for a couple different reasons.

The first is, no matter what Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb say publicly, teams are still calling to see if he's available.

The second is the inclusion of Kevin Kolb in Schefter's Tweet.

Michael Vick is obviously the most likely of the three to get dealt, even though NFL Network's Michael Lombardi reported last week that the Eagles could still keep him. And the McNabb speculation began before the first-round loss to the Cowboys was even over.

But the only way I can see the Birds dealing Kolb is if they want to make a long-term commitment to McNabb. And even then, it's no guarantee.

Kolb is due a base salary of $550,000 in 2010 and then becomes a restricted free agent in 2011. There really is no reason to trade him this offseason unless the Eagles are blown away with an offer. If McNabb stays, Kolb can stay as a good backup/insurance policy. Then you can decide what to do after next season. And obviously if McNabb is gone, Kolb gets his shot as the starter

By the way, Chris Rock said on NFL Network's pre-game show that McNabb was his favorite player because he always "takes complete responsibility" win or lose.

We'll be live-chatting the Super Bowl tonight, starting around 6 p.m. If you're anti-Super Bowl parties like me, hate the hype and just want to watch the game, be sure to join.

Adam Caplan said that he talked to two high level NFL team execs about the Eagles QB situation. These execs have close ties to the Eagles' management team. Caplan said the execs told him that the Eagles' management loves Kevin Kolb. That doesn't mean he couldn't be traded but it's unlikely.

I would think the Birds had more "Time" and "Money" invested in McNabb, no Lonewolf??? Either way, whoever blows the Eagles away with an offer for either McNabb or KK that will be the one to go. Thats a fact. Vick is already out of the equation cause he's as good as gone.

What's really sad is the saints win the superbowl in their first trip ever, you Listening Lurie, banner, they apparently know how to get it done, now wake up and do the right things to bring home a trophy. And that's not bringing mcnabb back, the time is right for kolb, give him the same chance that you've given a guy that can't get it done. Get rid of some of the dead weight acquire TALENTED players, stop guessing...

All this talk of replacing McNabb with Kolb is insane. Kolb has two good games and now he is some sort of football savior? Please people, all this change just for the sake of change is just stupid. Kevin Kolb wouldn't have won any of those games against Dallas because the defense and O-line played poorly in both games. There are lot of fans out there who seem to think that Kolb has earned the right to be the starting QB, i say he hasn't earned anything. If Kolb wants the job he needs to take it in pre-season......... Oh, am I the only one who is concerned by Kolb's pocket presence, or lack there of. He just doesn't seem to see the rush coming for some reason. If he had played in those games against Dallas he might have been sacked 10 to 15 times.
