If Villanova defeats Marquette this afternoon (2:30) in a Big East Tournament quarterfinal, the Wildcats would play Georgetown in Friday's semifinals.

Georgetown knocked off top-seeded Syracuse, 91-84, in today's first quarterfinal at Madison Square Garden.

Villanova split with Georgetown during the regular season, winning 82-77 at the Wachovia Center, on Jan. 17, and losing, 103-90, at the Verizon Center on Feb. 6.

But for Villanova, first things first, and that is the game against Marquette.
