Dallas Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins was not mincing words when he spoke about the team's plans for trying to shut down the Eagles explosive wide receivers.

"Go out and hit them in the mouth," Jenkins told reporters. "Just be physical and hopefully we can shut them down."

However, Jenkins also praised the Eagles' DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin and understands the Birds' ability to make the big play. Still, he was not backing down.

"It's definitely tough just being physical and trying not to give up the big play," Jenkins said. "It makes an athlete an athlete if you can do both. If you've got a physical guy, he usually gets beat over the top a lot. Putting both of them into one, that makes a great athlete. I feel a lot of confidence in me and [Terence Newman] and Orlando [Scandrick] and our secondary, period."

Not much to speak of on the Cowboys' injury report. Both running back Marion Barber (thumb) and linebacker DeMarcus Ware (foot) were full participants. Former Eagle Allen Rossum was the only player who missed practice. He has a hamstring injury.

Nice quote. Let's see how Jenkins does. Not sure he'll hit Avant or Celek in the mouth, probably preferring the smaller men like Jackson and Maclin. I don't think that hitting them will stop them from running past him down the field. Eagles may not beat the Cowboys, but the most likely thing they'll do well is burn the corners a couple times.

What do you want us to forgive you for? When Tony Romo was crying with his face in the dirt near the end of the last game? Or when he passed out from an anxiety attack in the shower after the game?

Interesting that cowpukes choose to not forget getting thier butts handed to them in the biggest game (for them) in 2008! If we got beat that badly I'd probably want to forget it
