This is the first night race at AMS in its 50 years of racing. Last year's race was held in late October . . . Richard Childress Racing moved Scott Miller from crew chief for Jeff Burton to director of competition. Childress said the crew chief position will be filled later. Burton is 18th in points . . . Erik Darnell is replacing Bobby Labonte in the No. 96 Ford at Atlanta and six other races this year. In 11 Nationwide Series starts this year, Darnell has one pole and two top-five finishes. In six truck races at Atlanta, he has one top-five and three top-10s. Labonte will race at Dover, Del., Sept. 27 and four other events.
