He looks a lot bigger, definitely. Then again, he's standing next to 10 year olds.

Joe Banner & Jeff Lurie should continue to set the "gold standard" and do an outreach program to the prisons. A few visits each and they will realize how the Bird's fans feel about seeing Dawk play in another jersey.

Digifant: Did Kobe? I think this is great when players & celebs take time out to go and speak with the kids.

lynnterese, do you research first: this isn't about Kobe, who is in a summer program at UCLA and will soon get his undergraduate degree. Jackson went to a middle school (A SCHOOL is where you get an education) to talk to children about the advantages of dropping out of college to go pro in sports. lynnterese, get back to work.

lynnterese: Kobe never went to college. He went to the NBA right after high school.

Digifant, you may want to take your own advice. Play60 is the NFL Health & Fitness promotion to keep kids active. It ia a promotion to help fight obesity in our children and has nothing to do with staying in school. Before you start ripping someone for doing something good by spending with kids instead of going off and getting in trouble get your facts strait.

cmattie4: my point is what is a college dropout doing hanging out with kids? it's a bad influence.

digifant....sooo, anyone without a college degree is a bad influence on kids? wow, that's quite a statement.

Digifant, how is that a bad influence? Are you saying that someone can't be successful unless they have a college degree? That's an awfully elitist attitude. If someone doesn't need a degree to do their job, what is the value in attaining it?
