ATLANTA — Carlos Ruiz's seven RBIs in Wednesday's 15-13 loss to the Braves were the most ever for a Phillies catcher. When a team employee informed Ruiz of that early Thursday morning, his eyes widened.

"Wow," he said. "But we lost, so it doesn't matter."

It didn't take away from the individual accomplishment. Ruiz joined rare company in Phillies history. Here are the seven-plus RBI games:

How worried are you about Roy Halladay’s effectiveness?
Not worried at all. He’s still a horse.
A little worried. Everybody loses it at some point.
Very worried. Once pitchers lose their stuff the end comes fast.

With a day game after a long night game, Ruiz has the day off Thursday. He ranks third in National League catchers with a .938 OPS, trailing only Buster Posey and Yadier Molina.
