The Atlanta Braves have finalized a trade to acquire Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Justin Upton, the team announced on Thursday.

The Braves get Justin Upton and third baseman Chris Johnson, and the Diamondbacks acquire leftfielder Martin Prado, pitchers Randall Delgado and Zeke Spruill, and shortstop prospect Nick Ahmed.

Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal broke news of the deal earlier in the morning.

The deal does not bode well for the rival Phillies, who will roll out an outfield consisting of some combination of the following players: Ben Revere, Delmon Young, John Mayberry Jr., Darin Ruf, Domonic Brown, and Laynce Nix.

Atlanta, on the other hand, has already signed Upton's brother, B.J., this offseason, to play alongside 23-year-old Jason Heyward (All-Star, Rookie of the Year in 2010; Gold Glove in 2012).
