Report: Crawford commits to Temple

Cory Crawford, a wideout at Palmetto High School (Fla.), gave an oral commitment to play football at Temple, according to multiple Florida newspaper reports.

Cory Crawford, a wideout at Palmetto High School (Fla.), gave an oral commitment to play football at Temple, according to multiple Florida newspaper reports.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound senior played running back, wideout, quarterback and cornerback for the Tigers.  He ultimately chose the Owls over scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Western Michigan, Toledo and Middle Tennessee.
