Passion set to defend Eastern Conference title

On Sunday, the Philadelphia Passion will look to defend their Eastern Conference title as they take on the Tampa Bay Breeze with a trip to Lingerie Bowl IX on the line.

Last season, the Passion fell just short of winning it all, losing to the Los Angeles Temptation, 26-25, in their first-ever Lingerie Bowl appearance.

Led by running back and safety Marirose Roach, who accounts for over 50 percent of the team's offense, the Passion went undefeated this season, posting a 4-0 record. Even more impressive was their ability to win big, outscoring opponents by an average of 45.5 points.

Philadelphia's regular-season matchup against the Breeze resulted in a 48-0 win for the Passion. Roach led the way with 103 yards rushing and five touchdowns.

The teams will square off for the second time this season at 4 p.m. Sunday with much more at stake.
