MILWAUKEE -- The Phillies received good news on the injury front Thursday when an MRI of closer Brad Lidge's right elbow showed no structural damage. Instead, Lidge has inflammation in the lining of his elbow joint. He is day-to-day with that injury.

Lidge had felt stiffness in his surgically repaired elbow during the past few days and was sent back to Philadelphia for an examination. The MRI revealed his flexor pronator surgery performed in November is healing properly.

Lidge has allowed one run in 3 1/3 innings in 2010. He is expected to rejoin the team here for the three-game series that begins Friday.
