BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Kevin Curtis is back in pads practicing with the rest of the wide receivers here at Lehigh today. Curtis suffered a thigh bruise during yesterday morning's practice, limped off the field and didn't practice in the afternoon. Right now he's participating in individual drills. It remains to be seen if he'll go with the team during live hitting.

Curtis had off-season surgery to repair a sports hernia so his health has been closely monitored by the Eagles training staff.

Also, the six injured players that have been working out with the athletic staff alone are still out: running back Brian Westbrook (ankle), cornerback Asante Samuel (hamstring), tackle Jason Peters (quad), defensive tackle Trevor Law (hamstring), defensive end Victor Abiamiri (pectoral muscle) and safety Macho Harris (ankle). Tackle Shawn Andrews (back) apparently is continuing his rehab indoors.

Check back for updates.

What's the deal with Andrews? I don't even believe he is rehabbing at all. I think he just doesn't feel like practicing.

After his stunt last year, HandNik's question is legit. Million $ body w/ a 10 cent head. Andrews could have an all pro season or retire to pursue gardening.

Gotta be worried about Andrews, C'mon, everytime something like this happens to Shawn everyones going to worry, the guy said at one time that he really didn't like football, now how are we going to have faith in someone like that! Consider this guy a rookie, we're not going to trust him until he proves he can do it on the field, sorry, he doesn't get a break for a back spasm!!!

remember folks this is training camp and trainers/coaches are very cautious. if there was a game tomorrow you better believe all those players who are sitting out of practice would suit up for the game.
