Is Reid done after Eagles loss?
Jeff McLane
The Eagles season is over.
Will Andy Reid's tenure in Philadelphia be next?
The Eagles reached rock bottom with an utterly uninspiring 21-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in which they failed to hold onto a fourth quarter lead for the fifth time this season. They now own a 3-6 record and have almost no shot of reaching the playoffs.
Based on the way Reid's team has played for mos of the season they have no shot. Quarterback Michael Vick was wretched for the second straight game. Juan Castillo's defense was soft. DeSean Jackson was benched for missing a team meeting on Saturday.
Has there ever been a team with so many expectations that failed to live up to them?
once again, Vick fails in the 4th qtr. 3 points for the Awfense in the 4th qtr. Pathetic. palmyra21- With his running back averaging more than 6 yards per carry, and his QB playing like a high schooler, Reid still only ran McCoy 14 times.
And to quote Ray Didinger:
The Eagles are 73-12 in games when they have more rushing attempts than their opponent (6-0 in the playoffs) and 50-7 in games when they have 30 or more rushing attempts (4-0 in the playoffs).
Goodbye Andrew! Lonewolf11 - Lonewolf that comment by Ray Diddy is so old and tired. Did you ever consider that the reason the records are so skewed is because the perhaps the Eagles are playing with a lead with most of those games and obviously would dictate more runs in the second half thereby padding those statistics. I would guess that most teams have quite a difference when the carries far outweigh the passes. Its because they have the lead and are running out the clock. Why they have gotten away from that this year is because the D is horrible. Times yours
rfhorner - You mean like today? You do realize they lead for most of the second half, right?
bc3030 - horner, they've lost 5 4th quarter leads this year...because they didn't run the ball. Right now the offense is just as bad as the defense but the worst thing going on is the coaching on both sides of the ball. TIME'S OURS!!! Sell the team!
At least today wasn't DeSean Jackson's fault. At least we didn't lose to Kevin Kolb. At least McNabb didn't throw any passes into the dirt. J H- J H, you forgot one other thing. A certain percentage of the misguided Eagle fanbase will say "at least we beat the Cowboys".

Been watching the Iggles since the mid-60s.
They were favored by 14 points today & I swear I've seen better Pop Warner games.
I don't care for the coaching at all.
Players seem to have given up on the season.
The fat man & his crew, esp. Castillo, must go. narkose3535
Well at least it was the hall of famer John Elway that marched down the field to win the game for the Cardinals oh oh wait a sec it was who-------JOHN F#@#@#@ SKELTON!!! philsfan417
What a great season. Eagles are so bad it's not even worth the effort to blog. Fortunately I don't live in Phila anymore so I don't have to watch them at the Linc. Vick is a 500 QB for us. Time to clean house. See you guys next year. I'm out. DallasEagle
Comment removed.
I certainly hope this is the end of Andy Reid. The Eagles will never win with his one-sided approach. My prediction, which I made at the beginning of the season, is 5-11. Dream team? I don't think so. amyphilly
