Outfielder Raul Ibanez was on the field at FirstEnergy Park in Reading loosening up, but is not the in the lineup for tonight's Eastern League game.

Ibanez said that he has not had a setback with his injured groin.

He did not say when he would begin his rehab assignment. He is eligible to come off the disabled list Friday, but that is not expected. Indications are that he could return to the Phillies early next week.

Ibanez took part in a pregame workout last night in Reading and had seemingly been slated to play tonight in the Eastern League had he been feeling fine after he warmed up tonight. However, Ibanez said before tonight's game that knew last night that he would not be playing.

Meanwhile, rehabbing reliever Scott Eyre will start for Reading tonight.

So was there a set back for Ibanez or is the team being careful?

Provide proof thatIbanez was juicing, since that is such a bold accusation like Dick Cheney does on a regualr basis. Coming from a Philly you are wrong, I would expect that from a Philly hater not from a Philly fan.
