Is Gus Bradley the right choice for the Eagles?
Yes
No

Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, believed to be the front-runner to replace Andy Reid as Eagles coach, arrived in Philadelphia around 2:30 this afternoon for his second interview with team officials.

Though Bradley is the only candidate known to have met with the Eagles more than once, a source close to another candidate cautioned that Bradley's initial interview, held the day before the Seahawks exited the playoffs at the hands of the Falcons, was shorter than usual for such meetings, given Bradley's focus on game preparation. So this second meeting might be more than just tying up loose ends in preparation for a deal.

"No decision has been made in Philly yet," the source said.

Eagles defensive end Darryl Tapp played a year for Bradley in Seattle before being traded to the Eagles. Tapp told the Daily News Bradley is "energetic, motivated and a genuinely good dude, knows his stuff.'

"If hired, he will be a true asset," Tapp said.

Monday, the Eagles interviewed Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt for about 4 hours, then spoke with Cincinnati offensive coordinator Jay Gruden. If the Eagles indeed are close to a decision, as many people around the process believe, Whisenhunt and Bradley seem to be shaping up as the finalists.

The Eagles liked the Whisenhunt interview, a source said, and Whisenhunt very much would like to coach here.

Bradley is scheduled to interview with the Jaguars Wednesday.

Stay tuned.

If they let him get out of the city without at least a handshake on a deal, the Jaguars will lock him up. If that happens, Lurie is toast in this town (if he isn't already).

Sign Bradley, he sounds like the type of coach who motivates his players and can make in game adjustments.

Hey, DJ the Dope. The head coach doesn't report to Roseman, Twit. He reports to Lurie. Roseman has the final say on draft picks and free agents. He has a staff of 16 football people doing the evaluations. Any head coach candidate can have a look at the evalutaions his team put together. A complete non-issue.

hey DJ, Life is beautiful in the Philly region. This is a golden age here. You don't know what you're missing. I've lived here my whole life, never ever would consider leaving. Why you have to be in LA to like the 49ers? I could sit in my easy chair, king in my castle, and like the 49ers from here. Life is good . It's "always sunny" here!

yep philly is great. hot summers and cold winters. an NFL franchise that's never won a SB. a baseball team with two championships since 1883. a hockey club with a 40 year drought

    life is good my friend

@DJ_Bootleggah: Nice handle, but fits you well. You write and sound like the pure thug punk you are. I wasn't talking to you, but I might as well have been. You're an obvious product of the slums and limited education. Your mother must be proud of the slime she should have aborted.

Wait, that WAS you I was talking to. I didn't recognize you without all the capital letter and "LOLs". Same fool, just at a lower decibel. You'll need to look that word up in the dictionary because I know you're staring at it right now trying to figure out what it means. By the way, a dictionary is a book with lots of words in it coupled with the meanings of said words. You still with me, bonehead?

These two clowns have conducted more interviews than Barbara Walters. Knowing in October that Reid would need to be replaced you would think that a competent owner and GM would have done their'due diligence' and would have been ready immediately to make an offer when the season ended.

I'm heartened to hear that Bradley isn't close to a done deal. I guess he has a lot of supporters out there but I ask why? What has he ever done? How many guys have become head coach with fewer accomplishments in football? Roseman has more NFL experience and has been around more playoff and winning teams than Bradley and has also managed an organization larger than a defense. If Whisenhunt wants to coach here and Bradley is the only other candidate, it should be a no brainer. Take the guy with the playoff, Super Bowl, and head coaching experience.
