Is Gus Bradley the right choice for the Eagles?
Yes
No

Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley, believed to be the front-runner to replace Andy Reid as Eagles coach, arrived in Philadelphia around 2:30 this afternoon for his second interview with team officials.

Though Bradley is the only candidate known to have met with the Eagles more than once, a source close to another candidate cautioned that Bradley's initial interview, held the day before the Seahawks exited the playoffs at the hands of the Falcons, was shorter than usual for such meetings, given Bradley's focus on game preparation. So this second meeting might be more than just tying up loose ends in preparation for a deal.

"No decision has been made in Philly yet," the source said.

Eagles defensive end Darryl Tapp played a year for Bradley in Seattle before being traded to the Eagles. Tapp told the Daily News Bradley is "energetic, motivated and a genuinely good dude, knows his stuff.'

"If hired, he will be a true asset," Tapp said.

Monday, the Eagles interviewed Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt for about 4 hours, then spoke with Cincinnati offensive coordinator Jay Gruden. If the Eagles indeed are close to a decision, as many people around the process believe, Whisenhunt and Bradley seem to be shaping up as the finalists.

The Eagles liked the Whisenhunt interview, a source said, and Whisenhunt very much would like to coach here.

Bradley is scheduled to interview with the Jaguars Wednesday.

Stay tuned.

ahh, Hannibal rectum shows his cards. Not even a Philly fan, and you waste this much time posting here? You do have some funny ones though, Ill grant you that. Weather in Philly not too great, always sunny in Denver but shhh, nobody knows we get 70 in the middle of winter. Food is the best on the east coast, no comparisons. Roseman does not have a good track record but many people involved in all these decisions. Too easy to bash, easy target. We shall see how he does going forward, last draft seemed much better, jury still out on that also.

i'll grant you that, on the high end the food in philly is pretty good. and i've got nothing against the philles, season ticket holder and was at game five in '08. but i call em like i see em cuz

and you are right, even if you accept lurie's assertion that howie has no responsibility for 2010 & 11 drafts, nor the abortion FA signings pre-2012, he's now walking a tightrope without a net, and i expect he'll fall off and snap his pencil neck

I think Gus is the right choice considering the options that they are looking at.

I don't understand the Eagles fascination with this Bradley guy he blew that playoff game by giving up those two passes at the end weve seen that before why do we want to see it again?? They should have gone with gruden or mccoy

Are you kidding? Did you understand the Eagles' fascination with a coach they just had finish a 14 year run that included three 5 year plans? You'd give up on Bradley for one game after watching all of Reid's antics for the last 14 years? You make NO sense.

Ok good, I thought this meant you werent even a philly fan, my bad. Was just the facts I guess, seemed like a bash: "yep philly is great. hot summers and cold winters. an NFL franchise that's never won a SB. a baseball team with two championships since 1883. a hockey club with a 40 year drought"

In 2010, the Seahawks' defense allowed opponents to gain 368.6 yards (27th in the league) and to score 25.4 points per game (25th).[6]

In 2011, the Seahawks' defense allowed opponents to gain 332.2 yards (9th in the league) and to score 19.7 points per game (7th).

In 2012, the Seahawks' defense allowed opponents to gain 306.2 yards (4th in the league) and to score 15.3 points per game (1st)

Thats why, and high praise from other coaches and players. Does that mean he will succeed as a HC? no, but there are no perfect candidates.

With Bradley, at least the team should be fun to watch. Seattle added a lot of energy to the NFL this year.

Lurie should just save his money and let Roseman coach the team too.

How do these "writers" know whether or not a decision has been reached? Oh that's right, an unnamed source. Please. By the way, how many teams are still doing a Head Coach search? Last I read, the Bears are up to 13 candidates. How many for San Diego? Cleveland?

For those who say, "Why didn't the Eagles interview coaches earlier in the season?" THEY CAN'T! There are RULES about contracts and permission, you dolts.

Bradley has said he prefers mobile QBs like Russel Wilson. He goes way out of his way to praise Wilson. Say good bye to Nick Foles and hello again to Mike Vick.
