Fans wait, some overnight, for Phillies single-game tickets

For Paula Bryan, first time was the charm. Of the dozens of Phillies fans at Citizens Bank Park early this morning as single-game tickets went on sale, the Delaware County woman was the first to arrive.

    if dave montgomery cared as much about winning another world series as these fans do about buying tickets, manuel and amaro would be out of work.

    With all of the strife in the world, all the poverty, hunger, shootings and corruption in the city, these folks think it's important to get Phillies tickets.

    Yo, where are your priorities? The owners of the sports teams don't care about the customers, except in Green Bay.

    I think you missed the part where they said they ENJOYED the experience of going there and meeting new people and making new friends. Who are you to judge? You don't know these people. Maybe the experience is worth it for them to take a day off work and do something they enjoy. More power to them.

    Why exactly do you have to get there the night before when only a couple hundred people are going to show up? You would think they were standing in line for super bowl tickets or something.
