The Birds announced that they've added WR Jared Perry and waived WR Kevin Jurovich.

Perry signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent, but was released on Monday. A teammate of Jeremy Maclin's at Missouri, he played in 52 games, starting 27 of them. Perry caught 137 balls for 1,844 yards and 13 touchdowns in college. As a senior, he had 46 receptions for 696 yards and six touchdowns.

Perry is listed at 6-1 and 177 pounds. He is 22 years old.

Kelley Washington is the other receiver the Eagles worked out. He'll turn 31 next month and spent last season with the Ravens, appearing in 15 games (starting two). Washington caught 34 balls for 431 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It was his most productive year since entering the league in 2003.

Here are the receivers currently on the Eagles' roster: DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, Jason Avant, Hank Baskett, Riley Cooper, Blue Cooper, Jordan Norwood, Dobson Collins, Chad Hall, and Perry.

In other news, the Giants have claimed linebacker/defensive end Alex Hall off waivers. The Eagles cut Hall on Wednesday. Andy Reid explained during his press conference that he thought Hall could be a good fit as an outside linebacker in a 3-4.

The Giants, however, do not employ a 3-4. They'll likely take a look at him at defensive end, according to reports.

Hall was included in the Eagles' offseason trade with the Browns, which shipped Sheldon Brown and Chris Gocong to Cleveland.
