Eagles check out Washington DE, Kansas WR

Catching up on some draft visits and workouts:

* The Eagles have had Washington defensive end Daniel Te’o-Nesheim in for a visit, a source tells Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post. Te'o-Nesheim (6-3, 263) had nine sacks last year and 27 total in his four seasons with the Huskies. He is not considered a top prospect by draft sites.

* Morgan State wide receiver E.J. Morton-Green is scheduled to work out for the Eagles, according to Joe Fortenbaugh of the National Football Post. Morton-Green (6-4, 215) caught 24 passes for 324 yards last season.

* Kansas wide receiver Dezmon Briscoe (6-2, 207) has worked out for the Eagles, according to Fortenbaugh. Briscoe had 84 catches for 1,337 yards and nine touchdowns as a junior last season. He is considered a top-10 WR prospect by most draft sites.

* The Eagles sent offensive line coach Juan Castillo to N.C. State's pro day to check out center Ted Larsen, according to Gil Brandt of Larsen (6-2 5/8, 306) is the sixth-rated center by Wes Bunting of the National Football Post.

* The Eagles held individual workouts with East Carolina defensive tackles Linval Joseph (6-4, 328) and Jay Ross (6-3, 313) last Wednesday, according to Brandt. Joseph is considered the better prospect.

* The Eagles sent running backs coach Ted Williams to SMU's pro day, per Brandt. SMU had a couple prospects working out. Running back Shawnbrey McNeal (5-9, 194) ran for 1,188 yards last year and averaged 5.0 yards per carry. He also had 31 catches. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (5-10 3/4, 181) caught 98 balls for 1,339 yards and seven TDs as a senior.

Thanks to reader Art for the heads-up on several of the above links.

Yesterday, we pointed out Deion Sanders' comments, calling the Eagles' decision to deal McNabb the "dumbest trade ever." We also referenced his use of shibacle. Mike Florio over at PFT nailed the possible derivation of Sanders' word.

And then he discovered that the term was already on Urban Dictionary, and it's spelled shebacle. The use of it in a sentence absolutely killed me.

This is why we love the internet.
