I've always loved the eagles but this is a nightmare. Go phillies. Go sixers.
Yes, he paid his price but there are certain jobs that don't fit. A child molester might serve his time but I don't want him teaching kindergarten.
A bad decision.

So much for only "Players with Character" that the Eagles so strongly asserted years ago. Maybe the two players that they cut for similar offenses should sue the team for reinstatement. Just coat him in gravy and throw him in with some of the dogs he tortured. If he comes out of that, maybe we'll use him.

I am sickened by the decision A.) to even reinstate him B.) let him become a role model to our children and C.) allow him to be paid to play again. he is sub-human with NO remorse. the eagles will be cursed with a LOSING season for allowing this dog torturer to once again represent the NFL. How sad. I vote for a new leader of the league, one with the guts to stand up and say NO we won't allow our league to continue to be tarnished over and over again by gross misconduct by players in the league. Where is that man or woman that will say NO MORE! We will change! ?

i like dogs better than people but i hope it turns out to be a good thing. vick can change the attitude towards dog fighting. vanessavajj is tokyo rose.

Barbara please just go away. You need not insult a city based on the actions of their football team. Get a grip and grow up. And ipuritani, a child molester teaching kindergarten is a little different than an animal abuser playing football. How does that even compare? Some of you people need to get a sense of relativity.

SPCA needs to work with Vick, McNabb and Reid to ensure Vick spends sometime each week to find a new owner for an abandoned dog. On game day when the pre-game activities start, Vick should formally handover the dog to the new owner in front of ten cameras. It will heal his soul and it will be great PR for SPCA, NFL and Eagles. Vick has paid for his crime; it is time to go the extra mile and give a second change to a dog every week just like the second change he just got. Eagles has to make this an all out positive situation.
