BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- DeSean Jackson was back at practice, but refused to discuss his return or anything else for that matter.

After a light practice in shorts, the Eagles wide receiver was asked to answer questions ... just football-related questions? ... just questions about his return? ... any question? ... but he politely declined with a shake of the head.

Jackson strained his lower back on Saturday and has missed every practice since. He participated in all facets of practice Friday and even shagged punts.

"He looked good," Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb said. "Obviously today wasn't a 100 percent for everybody ... but, I think, it was a nice little transition for him to get into tomorrow's practice."

Jackson was the only recently-injured player to return. Receiver Jeremy Maclin (knee), cornerback Macho Harris (hamstring) and defensive tackle Antonio Dixon (concussion) worked out indoors. Cornerback Asante Samuel (hamstring), running back Mike Bell (hamstring) and tight end Martin Rucker (hamstring) exercised outdoors with the training staff.

Center A.Q. Shipley (ankle) joined the PUP boys -- guard Todd Herremans (foot), center Jamaal Jackson (knee) and defensive end Victor Abiamiri (knee) -- in their daily outdoor grind.

Running back J.J. Arrington missed practice with a left foot strain. Linebacker Keenan Clayton was excused from practice for personal reasons.

The team resumes full pads practice tomorrow morning at 8:15 a.m. at Lehigh.
