Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson stopped by the NFL Network studios to discuss a variety of topics, including his relationship with new head coach Chip Kelly, the team's quarterback competition and his documentary "DeSean Jackson, The Making of a Father's Dream".

DeSean will release the documentary on Father's Day, which is June 16th.

In an interview with NFL Total Access, DeSean describes how the film demonstrates the importance of his father, Bill Jackson, in his journey to the NFL.

In an earlier report, the film touches on a phone call DeSean received from then-Eagles head coach Andy Reid voicing his concern for DeSean's father being very involved in DeSean's football career.

Did the Eagles miss out on Tim Tebow?
Yes. The Patriots obviously see something in him.
No. He’s not good enough to be an NFL quarterback.

“I never gave him time off,” Bill says in the film. "People used to say, ‘Why are you doing him like that? You’re trying to kill him.’"

Later in the interview, DeSean shed some light on Chip Kelly and the Eagles' offense.

On Kelly and his offense:

"Chip Kelly, he is a great guy. So far, so good. He has installed a high tempo offense. It is a blessing for myself because I am able to be moved throughout the offense and not just stay at one position; [I'm] in the backfield, in the slot receiver, getting mismatched on linebackers and strong safeties and things like that."

On if he was demoted in practice by Kelly:

"It was no demotion. He was just trying new things with everybody. Nothing is set in stone for anybody. Everybody on the team was able to go through first team, second team, third team. At the end of the day, I am very happy where I am at. I am not worried because at the end of the day I am going to out there, put my work in and do what I need to do to get my starting spot and keep it."

On the Eagles' quarterback competition:

"So far, I don't know, it has been kind of even. [Michael] Vick and [Nick] Foles have been switching off [with] first team [and] second team. So it is the same thing with them. I have been hearing some things about Vick saying that he wants to know. At the same time, the team wants to know too. We need to go into training camp prepared and know who is going to be our starting quarterback. Whether it is Foles or Vick, I think they would both do a great job and we will be ready for the season."
