Andy Reid to coach Eagles in next game against Dallas Cowboys

Andy Reid will coach the Eagles when they travel to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, a team source said Monday.

Reid addressed the media at noon after the Eagles fell to the Panthers, 30-22, on Monday night. His future has come under increased scrutiny with the Birds now 3-8 and with no chance to finish better than Jeffrey Lurie's preseason bar of 8-8 for Reid to return for a 15th season.

"I'm coaching to get ready to get after the Cowboys, that's what I'm going to do," Reid said. "I don't go beyond that. That's simple ... that's how I go. I'm not going to let anything distract me from that."

Reid said after the game that he hadn't spoken to Lurie about his future and whether he received any assurances that he would finish out the season. He said Tuesday that he did not meet with Lurie this morning.

    There was a banner unveiled by fans last night at Lincoln Financial Field that read, "Jeff, This Is On You."

    Lurie has never fired a coach mid-season and said in August that he would evaluate Reid and his team after the season.
