Sixers guard Lou Williams, who has averaged 23.6 points on 55.1 percent shooting the past five games, will be lost to the team tonight after it was revealed in an x-ray today that Williams fractured his jaw during last night's 108-107 loss in Washington.
Williams said he got an elbow to the jaw sometime in the first quarter, but continued to play and scored a team-high 26 points. He had the ball in his hands for the last 11.5 seconds of the game, and his game-winning shot from just inside the three-point line fell just short.
Brand hurt his right hamstring in a collision in the third quarter and did not return. He is listed as a game-time decision tonight with a sore and tight hamstring.
Williams will be reevaluated when the team returns home tomorrow.
