About the Union: C.J. Sapong came off the bench to score the equalizer in the 73rd minute during last week's 2-2 home draw with Toronto FC. Jay Simpson, who scored the first goal, was replaced by Sapong in the 27th minute after suffering a rib injury/bruised lung. Simpson is listed as day to day, but it would be surprising if he plays. . . . Midfielder Ilsinho has yet to play due to a hamstring injury but coach Jim Curtin says he will be available for selection. . . . Midfielder Alejandro Bedoya will join the U.S. National team for World Cup qualifiers after the game, but won't miss any MLS action since the Union are idle next week.

About Orlando City: The Lions have been idle since a 1-0 home win over New York City FC on March 5, their first game in Orlando City Stadium. Last Saturday's game at New England was postponed due to severe weather conditions and rescheduled for Sept. 2. Cyle Larin scored the lone goal on an assist from newly acquired Giles Barnes. On Feb. 25, Barnes was acquired from Vancouver. Larin, now in his third year, had 32 goals in 60 MLS games. The opener drew a sellout crowd of 25,527. . . . Star midfielder Kaka is out after suffering a hamstring injury in the opening game. He played just 11 minutes and was replaced by Barnes. . . . Veteran keeper Joe Bendik, who played in all 34 games last season, made six saves in the opening win.
