"It's a blessing," Dawkins said. He made seven Pro Bowls as an Eagles safety, two more as a Bronco. His No. 20 is retired by the Birds. This is is first year of eligibility. "I never thought about it in any detail. Growing up, I never thought that I would have the opportunity to be talked about as a Hall of Famer . . . It's a very humbling thing" to get this far.

Former Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens also made the semis.
