Colts' promotion a prescription for ridicule

The team, whose president Jim Irsay was arrested for misusing painkillers, is exchanging DVDs for expired prescription drugs.

WHEN MIKE Vick played for the Eagles, the team didn't hold a "be nice to your dog" day.

And, you gotta think the Giants aren't going to put Jason Pierre-Paul in charge of fireworks night anytime soon.

But the Colts, well . . . they like to think outside the box.

How else can you explain Sunday's promotion in which the team will give fans attending training camp a 2014 highlight DVD in exchange for expired or unused prescription medicine?

Did someone forget the Colts are owned by Jim Irsay, who admitted he was under the influence of the painkillers oxycodone and hydrocodone when he was arrested in March 2014 near his suburban Indianapolis home?

Or is that the very reason the team came up with the idea?

Either way, it's a bit odd.

And let's be honest: What Colts fan wants a DVD that ends with their team getting crushed, 45-7, in the now-infamous Deflategate AFC title game?

McNabb hacked

It appears the Twitter account of former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb was hacked yesterday.

Several questionable tweets containing questionable links showed up on his feed.

One read: "This Is How Women Feel During Their Period." Another read: "Girls in panties."

The tweets were eventually removed and his account returned to being as boring as ever.

Go Bristol Boro!

Kudos to the Alyssa Adams, of Conwell-Egan High, who struck out 12 en route to a no-hitter that led Bristol Boro to a 6-0 win over Vidalia (La.) on Wednesday in the Senior Softball Little League World Series in Roxana, Del.

And yesterday, Adams knocked in two runs as Bristol (4-0) beat Latin America, 4-2, to advance to the championship round.
