76ers owners buy part of D.C. United

Two owners of the 76ers have purchased a co-ownership stake in D.C. United. The Major League Soccer team announced on Tuesday that Erick Thohir and Jason Levien, who have minority shares of the Sixers, will partner as co-owners with Will Chang. Chang had been United's primary owner since 2009.

Thohir is an Indonesian media mogul who serves as the vice president of the Indonesian Olympic Committee.

Levien was a former NBA player agent and Sacramento Kings executive before he became a minority owner of the 76ers with Thohir and 12 others in 2011.
