Eagles vs. Texans pick

Texans (+8) over EAGLES: I made a few enemies last week when my pick was the Bears covering the spread, so we'll just add to the list and pick Houston to stay inside of this generous spot. Can we now state that the NFC East is not the behemoth everyone thought it would be at the start of the season? Washington and Dallas are below .500 and the New York Giants have dropped two of the last three. My point is, the Birds' two wins against the Redskins and the Giants are now suddenly not so impressive. What is impressive about the Texans is that they rarely get blown out, especially on the road. The last 13 times away from home, Houston has lost only once by more than eight points. Every other game was either a win or a tight fit. And then there's this gem: the Birds have a very ugly 2-9 spread record the last 11 times out against the AFC South.
