Citing team sources, Yahoo Sports and ESPN.com reported that no timetable exists for the return of the four-time NBA scoring champion and former Sixers star.

Iverson and his manager, Gary Moore, met with Heisley Saturday morning after Iverson participated in a walk-through with Memphis. Afterward, Iverson caught a plane to Atlanta.

On Friday night, he restated his displeasure about coming off the bench for the first time in his 14-year career.

Parker sidelined

San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is not expected to play tonight against Toronto because of a sore left ankle.

The Spurs said yesterday that Parker's injury was a mild sprain that could sideline him for a week. Parker rolled his ankle Friday night during a loss in Portland.

Parker is averaging a team-high 14.8 points and four assists. He hurt the ankle at the start of last season and missed three weeks.

Thomas on the mend

Chicago Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro said surgery on forward Tyrus Thomas' left arm went well Saturday and that Thomas will be reevaluated tomorrow.

Thomas broke the arm Friday during weight training.

Del Negro said Thomas is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks, leaving the Bulls with just 10 healthy players.
