Breakdown: He declared for the draft last season, though the interest in him was so cool, he returned to the Cavaliers . . . Three-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference first team . . . Had a bad few days at the NBA predraft workouts in Orlando last year, but vastly improved this year. His team went undefeated in the 3 days and he impressed . . . He has very quick hands on the defensive end, but his size will hurt him in the NBA.
Scout's take: "He has a high basketball IQ and is a high-character person. If he doesn't get drafted, all 30 teams will be calling him on Friday. If he's not in the league in November, he should be within a year."
Projection: This might be the classic case of better off not drafted. He has worked out for a slew of NBA teams, including the Pacers, Pistons and Cavaliers. But he might be better served finding a situation more suited for him than trying to make a team he's drafted by.
