The Eagles have signed a fourth quarterback and two linebackers as rookie free agents.
Quarterback Cansey Hansen, who took part in the team's minicamp last week, threw for 4,277 yards and 19 TDs during his 2-year career at Norfolk State. Hansen, 6-6, 220, led the MEAC in passing in 2006 with 2,166 yards.
Linebacker Gary Butler (6-1, 235) had 69 tackles, 12 sacks, and four forced fumbles as a senior at California (Pa.).
Linebacker Mark Staffieri continues the Brigham Young connection with the Eagles. Staffieri (6-3, 232) had 54 tackles and one sack during his senior season and finished his 4-year career with 132 tackles and two sacks.
Eagles rookies are scheduled to report for a 3-day minicamp at the NovaCare Complex that begins next Tuesday.
