TIMING'S EVERYTHING

The times for the leading men's and women's finishers on this page are their "clock times," which is the official determination for awards, according to USA Track and Field, the governing body for running events in this country.

Beginning on Page 4 for each finishers are the "chip times," the elapsed time from the starting line to the finish line.

Both chip and clock times can be found at www.broadstreetrun.com the race's official Web site maintained by the Philadelphia Department of Recreation.

Rollins benched for being late
Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins was benched for this afternoon's game vs. the Mets because he was late, arriving to Shea Stadium about an hour before the 12:10 p.m. game.
