St. Joseph’s Prep tackle chooses Penn State

The decision is made: Mark Arcidiacono will attend Penn State.

Arcidiacono, a 6-5, 290-pound junior tackle at St. Joseph's Prep, held a press conference early this afternoon and said he'd attend Penn State. His other choice was Florida.

"Archie" is the eldest of eight siblings. His father, Mark, was a first-team Daily News All-City defensive lineman for Father Judge in 1982, then played for Temple.

Arcidiacono (archie-dee-ock-uh-no) attended spring games at Florida, then Penn State.
