Here's how the Phillies' minor league teams fared on Sunday, July 13:

Lehigh Valley IronPigs – Triple A

The IronPigs topped the Louisville Bats, 5-2, at Louisville Slugger Field in Louisville, Ky.

Left-handed starter Jeremy Horst allowed two runs in the first inning, but the pitching staff combined for eight scoreless the rest of the way.

Relievers Ethan Martin, Hector Neris and Luis Garcia all threw two scoreless innings. Neris picked up the win and Garcia (0.88 ERA) recorded his 16th save of the season.

The offense delivered 14 hits in the win, led by center fielder Leandro Castro (3-for-5 with a double and three runs scored) and second baseman Tyler Henson (4-for-4 with a double, a walk and an RBI).

Left fielder Darin Ruf (1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout) and third baseman Russ Canzler (2-for-4 with a double and a caught stealing) both knocked in two runs.

The IronPigs head into the all-star break with a 46-50 record.

Reading Fightin Phils – Double A

The Fightin Phils hit four home runs to beat the New Britain Rock Cats, 6-4, at New Britain Stadium in New Britain, Conn.

First baseman Brock Stassi (3-for-4 with two runs scored) and catcher Logan Moore blasted two-run homers, while designated hitter Jake Fox and center fielder Aaron Altherr (2-for-4) added solo shots to power the offense.

The offense made a winner out of right-handed starter Ryan O'Sullivan (3-5, 3.69 ERA), who gave up two runs on four hits and a hit batsman while striking out three over six innings.

Righty Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez struck out one in a perfect ninth to notch his second save.

The Fightin Phils (38-54) hand the ball to southpaw Adam Loewen (1-2, 4.14 ERA) as the series and the first-half schedule wrap up on Monday.

Clearwater Threshers – Class A-Advanced

The Threshers extended a losing steak to four games in a 3-1 loss to the Palm Beach Cardinals at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla.

Right-handed starter Aaron Nola (1-2, 3.86 ERA) admitted his outing was "a little shaky." He managed to hold the Cardinals to three runs on seven hits while striking out two in five innings. Nola didn't walk a batter, but served up two homers.

Designated hitter Art Charles tried to carry the offense as he recorded three of the team's four hits in the loss. Charles went 3-for-3 with a double and scored on a wild pitch.

Phillies lefty Cliff Lee (0-0, 4.50 ERA) makes another rehab start as the Threshers (9-14 in second half, 26-65 overall) play the final game before the all-star break on Monday.

Lakewood BlueClaws – Class A

The BlueClaws were pounded by the Delmarva Shorebirds, 10-4, at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood Township, N.J.

Right-handed starter Tyler Viza (3-13, 5.17 ERA) suffered his South Atlantic League-worst 13th loss. Viza was charged with five runs (four earned) on eight hits and two walks over five innings.

The offense was held to five hits in the loss. Second baseman Pullin (1-for-4 with a run scored) had the only extra-base hit, a double in the first.

After an off day Monday, the BlueClaws (8-17 in second half, 35-59 overall) begin a three-game set on the road against the Hickory Crawdads on Tuesday.

Williamsport Crosscutters – Class A-Short Season

The rain helped the Crosscutters beat the Tri-City ValleyCats, 5-0, at Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pa. The game was called in the fifth inning.

Left-handed starter Matt Imhof (1-0, 0.75 ERA) threw five scoreless to earn the victory. Imhof surrendered only three hits and a walk while striking out three.

Center fielder Aaron Brown hit a solo home run in the first to give his team an early lead.

Second baseman Drew Stankiewicz delivered the big blow with a three-run homer in the fourth.

The teams will finish the series on Monday as righty David Whitehead (2-1, 2.10 ERA) takes the hill for the Crosscutters (17-13).
