Style:
The Main Line goes Belgian at this handsome new mussel and brew house attached to popular Teresa's Cafe in downtownWayne. The 24-tap bar and 200-bottle list is the serious beer destination the suburbs have been lacking. Unexpected authentic taqueria flavors spice up the decent, but inconsistent, Belgian fare.
Specialties:
Fried tomatillos; kaas frite; fricadelles; carnitas; all mussels (try dirty, drunken or provincial); Arctic char; waterzooi; cheese board.
Alcohol:
A beer bonanza with 24 taps, 200 bottles from Belgium, the local region, and international craft breweries. A serious wine list, with global bargains, nice glass selections and grappas.
Weekend noise:
An ear-numbing 93 decibels. (Ideal is 75 decibels.)
