Grilled or wood-fire-baked fare at this chain in Cherry Hill Mall aspires to fresh and healthful, but stumbles in the taste test.
Could a concept as enlightened as seasonal, healthful cooking possibly exist at the Cherry Hill Mall?
Yes, I know we're talking about the hallowed ground where the first climate-controlled indoor mall east of the Mississippi was born nearly half a century ago. I know we're talking about a town so thoroughly infested with big-box commercialism that any hop

Style:
The promise of seasonal, healthful cooking at the mall comes wrapped in an appealing package of wood smoke, great wines, and a handsome California-style ambience. But ultimately, the butter-free menu of grilled and oven-roasted fare offers an uninspired take on spa food that shows the lack of finesse (and lightning speed) one expects from a chain. Genuinely good wines by the glass and a fun piano bar are this newcomer's best traits.
Specialties:
Flatbreads (steak; tomato; shrimp); shrimp cocktail; tuna tartare; chicken chile relleno; bison steak special; mahimahi "Matachica" special; cheesecake.
Alcohol:
Seasons' best side is a cellar with 120 quality labels, including 50 good choices by the glass served in quality stemware by well-informed servers. The mostly New World selection ranges from premier California chards (Mer Soleil, $12.50 a glass) to South African sauvignon (Mulderbosch, $11.50), Washington merlot (Chateau Ste. Michelle, $10.50), and some pricier big-name cabs (Caymus, Opus One, Insignia).

I have been to Seasons 52 several times since the opening and each time has been a wonderful dining experience! I love the atmosphere, the delicious flat breads and especially the cedar planked salmon. I enjoy that the entrees are not swimming in sauce and each time everything is seasoned to perfection. And talk about the "mini indulgences." Each one I have enjoyed is just the right amount and leaves me much more than satisfied!! You cannot pass them up. I love Seasons 52 and am never left disappointed.
