This latest one-name wonder - a Queen Village BYO and its young chef crafting creative cuisine - merits many words of praise.
There is a fine art to coining the perfect one-word restaurant name. And Philly has seen a host of seemingly prosaic choices - Fork, Supper, and Salt, to name a few - that rose above their implied mundaneness to achieve a memorable cachet. » Read more

Terrible dining experience
This was one of the worst overall dining experiences ever. The food was simply so-so and the portions were small for the prices that were being charged. One person ordered scallops at our table and I asked why he ordered an appetizer for his main course, only to find out that it was an entree. I had the octopus appetizer, which had a fruit sauce that did not belong on the plate, and the octopus was not done well. The bronzino was fair, but this too was a very small portion. However, the service and management swayed a mediocre meal to a terrible one. Everything from timeliness, order accuracy, responsiveness, glasses and silverware, etc. was all wrong. Even when brought to the attention of management, nothing was resolved. Restaurants are bound to encounter problems, but most try to respond and this one did not. Also, it appeared that other tables were experiencing similar service challenges.

Exceptional
The food was superb and from the moment the door was opened for me, i felt welcomed. The service was exquisit and everything about this was perfect. I had gone there for brunch the week before and decided to try it for dinner. I was not disappointed. This one is a must for everyone.
