A fine addition to the restaurant row on Callowhill, this BYOB does best with dishes reflecting its owners' Korean heritage.
If you happen to live or work in a dining wasteland, as I once did, it helps to pray to the food gods for an accidental restaurant row to appear. » Read more

Meals Served:  Lunch   Dinner
Style: This sleek and serene little sushi nook has brought stylish raw fish and cooked fare with a Korean accent to the Callowhill corridor's suddenly growing dining options. The sushi bar has limitations that keep Doma a neighborhood-grade destination - but it's a charming space well-suited for a low-key date night or a business lunch, with several menu highlights (especially the Korean flavors) worth the visit.
Specialties: Raw: salmon carpaccio; sashimi appetizer; tartare trio; tuna club sandwich; oyster-ikura-uni; triple spicy double tuna roll; tuna tartare; hwe dup bap. Cooked: steamed buns with pork belly or mushroom; bibimbap; kalbi; tonkatsu; katsudon; chicken kushiyaki; strawberry mochi.
Alcohol: BYOB. Bring a cold sake, a light wheat beer, or an exotic white such as a dry riesling or herby gruner veltliner.
Weekend noise: A very comfortable 78 decibels. (Ideal is 75 decibels or less.)

inviting atmosphere..not appetite
Tried Doma for the first time. Didnt eat in but picked up. Impressed with interior decore and atmosphere. Wish i was as impressed by the food. Ordered 4 rolls. One roll was a specialty roll and I was told that particular roll consisted of 6 pieces. After cramming all four rolls into one take out dish, got home to notice they forgot 2 pieces of one of the rolls. Took over 30 min. to prepare. Salmon and Tuna rolls tasted fishier than normal. White rice was not sticky enough, rolls fell apart as eatting them. Probabaly would have enjoyed the experience more if I sat down inside, unfortunatly I probably will not return because of the quality of the rolls.
