This gastropub, like others of its ilk, has the pub part down pat. The gastro part - the food - can be a disappointment.
Every great trend hits a moment of sudden saturation when the buzz of novelty wears off and expectations ratchet up to a higher level. That time has come for the gastropub, the exuberant hybrid of hipster bar and neighborhood restaurant where craft beers coexist with serious cooking.

Style:
Another gastropub grows in place of a former South Philly Italian, as the old Felicia’s makes way for a handsome neighborhood bar with serious beers and some culinary ambitions. The big international brew list is worth driving for. The appealing beer-cuisine menu, though, struggles too much with consistency.
Specialties:
Fritto misto; seared scallops; mussels (Thai, Traditional, Aventinus); veal sausage special; Optimator-braised lamb sandwich; pork loin; apple tart.
Alcohol:
A major beer list, it ranges broadly across 16 constantly changing taps and 112 bottles, from American craft gems (Jim Beam barrel-aged Allagash Curieux, Avery porter, Omegang Hennepin) to Germany (Schneider Aventinus; Ayinger) and Belgium (Triple Kameliet; St. Bernardus Tripel.)
Weekend noise:
A very noisy 88 decibels. (Ideal is 75 decibels or less.)
