Neighborhood: Old City - Society Hill Parking: Lot and garage
Kevin von Klause, who cheffed at the White Dog Cafe for 17 years, is partnering with two fellow White Dog alums - Metropolitan Bakery's James Barrett and Wendy Smith Born - in a new venture, Farmicia, taking over the old Novelty space at 15 S. Third St. in Old City. Farmicia, which they hope to open in September after lightening up the decor, will theme toward organics, more healthful preparations, and what von Klause calls "realistic" portion sizes.
