"I think they deserve to be there. I think they're excellent," he said, adding that he has no personal endorsement deal with Slack's and that other shops on the list are also advertisers.

The panel of celebrity judges for the finale isn't quite set yet, Macnow said. But in the past he's had the likes of Le Bec-Fin chef Georges Perrier, Temple University basketball coach John Chaney, Eagles center Jamal Jackson and Flyers hall of fame goalie Bernie Parent.

The public is invited to watch and even sample during the finale, held at Paddy Whack's Irish Sports Pub at Second and South Streets.

MacNow will forever be a tool. It's obvious he has Slack's ranked high because they have been in association with WIP for several years.

Go Steve's! My favorite from there is a pepperoni & mozzarella (no sauce), wit. And don't forget the spicy fries with Whiz on the side.

Pagano's is #43 on the full list, below Pat's, which just isn't right...good list though for the most part, although I think D'alessandros should have made top 5...

I think Frank's Pizza in Quakertown has the best cheesesteaks. Try a weber, alittle messy but well worth it.

Why would anyone go to Pepper Mill? Place survives on its past reputation alone, its been going downhill for years. If you dont step on any rodents between your car and the counter, watch out for 'foreign objects' in your sandwich.
