Thu., 10/29/09 - 18:06 PM I'm surprised the article didn't mention something in particular. That is, the speed at which those multiple pitched were delivered. I heard at least one Yankee mention that he was taking so little time between pitches, it was difficult for the hitters to get truly set since they had no clue as to what was coming, and where it was going to end up. Amazing performance, and one I'll always remember.

Thanks for mentioning Samuel's lack of tackling ability. The interceptions are nice, but he's probably the worst tackler on the starting D. Terrible.

I'm not a huge Kolb fan, and never understood AR drafting someone that ran the offense he did in college. Even if I didn't like him at all, I still wouldn't resort to name calling. Then again, it's possible I don't have an issue. Could have been it was a bad choice because he should have known there was going to be a penalty, just like most of the special teams plays. lol

Surely you haven't forgotten that the success of a football team has a lot more to do with what happens on the field. There is no way you can ignore the possibility of having such a polarizing player in the locker room, and all of the distraction that this signing brings on, not having an effect of the play on the field. We've all seen problems off the field of play affect the team when on it. To leave that end out leaves your article... incomplete at best. I expected better from someone of your experience.

Granted, it makes for a current news cycle that completely obliterates any attention to any other team stories. Was that the intention? Is this just the head coach's desire to be a good Christian, as suggested here? I have no idea. All I know is that this coach, this FO, and this team is going to hear nothing but Vick, Vick, Vick for the duration. Upheaval anyone? Distraction anyone? Madness....
