Your the Dope kozykoz.... That was his whole point. His 1 good season wasn't really a good season because the offense covered for a so, so defense that didn't have to work hard.

Exactly! Should have been 22-21 Philly and everyone is worried about 2 rookie kickers. Akers missed field goals in the most important game of the season.

Kendrick wasn't the problem fault. He should have been left in the game. I or We, lets blame Charlie for poor managing and Brown for the errors. You don't go out and pull a guy that has thrown 81 pitches and only given up 1 run. He didn't give up 2 runs, Brown did with the errors. Pull him from the game (he has 4 errors in just 60 total chances) because he is the reason Charlie was out to yank Kendrick.

Thanks for what update? HE does like 5 appearances a week and he's missed 2????? This is a non story and he isn't up to any Ole behaviour. Maybe you don't have enough to do.

That would be your opinion and not the opinion of the majority of real people who watched the Golden Globes. The critics and the celebrities who make far more than the average person can't take a joke, many of whom deserved every bit of of the harsh comedy that Ricky gave them.
The overwhelming opinion of the working class that watched is that Ricky was funny and entertaining.

So, the guy hasn't coached since 2003 right? You have 2 guys in Avery Johnson who was nothing but a winner and Sam Mitchell who was coach of the year 3 years ago. So we are getting what? A guy that has not coached for 7 years? Anyone remember that the Lightning hired Barry Melrose from the TV studio after a number of years and what happened to the Lightning?

What whiners you people are. I've been a fan since 1967 and Richards is the worst Captain the team has ever had. He WHINES! The reason Stevens got fired is because Richards can't lead this team in the locker room. Sam is right, Richards should stick to playing the game and playing it better for that matter.

beermoney - It's the coach that sets the tone at practice and behind the bench. He coaches, so while the players might suck it up, it's the coach that is supposed to prepare them to play. They are obviously not prepared.

I keep hearing Flyers hockey from everyone. Flyers type hockey has not won a Stanley Cup for the Flyers since I was 16. IT hasn't won a cup for any other team either. What wins games? Defense, a good goalie and relentless pressure on the puck. We don't have any of that.

1.5 mil for 1 season or 5 mil for 4 seasons? Biron is not what the Flyers need to waste all that money on. Bob, get some common sense going and look at the reality of signing Emery, who is as good or better than Biron, to a smaller contract lets the Flyers sign a top notch defenseman.
