Article: So far, Andrew Bynum seems like a bad bet for Sixers - 2 out of 30 total comment(s)
- Tue., 01/22/13 - 09:22 AM@zoltt - nice post. Couldn't agree more.
@smiggs13, Thanks but I don't need to have someone call me ignorant but whatever helps you sleep at night. I don't think I ever called Iggy dead weight either. I watched about 7 or 8 Nuggets games this year and keep tabs on him when I can't watch. Read the Nuggets forums and tell me they appreciate the positives. I will admit, many people are saying they don't like the system that Karl has there, as well. And when you find what the positives are that Iggy brings, let me know. He's played decent all around this year? Show me where? Maybe it's his 8 pts per game in the last 5 games. Every one of his stats is down from his career numbers. Thought it wouldn't be possible for his shooting numbers to get worse but they have. Good to see he's still jacking up 3's-- barely shooting 30% but still hoisting almost 4 per game. And he doesn't get to the line as much. Good thing because he's barely shooting 60% there. He's Evan Turner but a worse shooter (and that's saying something) but keep appreciating all the positives Iggy brings. Maybe you're a fantasy basketball guy and you like how he fills up columns for you. I don't know. And no, sorry, I don't listen to WIP. - Tue., 01/22/13 - 07:44 AMIguodala is mentioned too many times in this article. He HAD to go! Besides, check out his numbers in Denver this year-- shooting even worse than last year. What this doesn't mention is Nic Vucevic - that's the guy in this whole four team deal that they miss. Averaging 12 and 11 a night and 4th in League in rebounding. He got in Collins doghouse at the end of last season and never got out.

- Sat., 01/07/12 - 13:25 PMWhy is it too early to talk about Top 8 in Conference?? They were Top 8 last year and appear to be better this year. They're not winning a Championship any time soon but to say this team is currently not a playoff team is incorrect. Show me 8 teams in the East who are better? I'll give you Miami, Chicago, Boston, Orlando and even if I gave you Toronto, New York, and Indiana that's still only 7 and the Sixers are just as good as those 3.

- Thu., 07/21/11 - 10:03 AMYou wouldn't trade Worley for Pence!?! You probably didn't want Happ to leave either. Pence would fit perfectly with this team and the big factor is... he's RIGHTHANDED! Lifetime .291 hitter and he's only 28-- how do people know he hit his ceiling?!? A guy who's going to hit over .300, hit 25 HRs and have 90 RBIs would like real good in this OF right now. And yeah, I would trade Brown for him, as well-- not Worley AND Brown but one of them I would. And Brown in the MVP consideration for years to come?!?-- not sure if that's sarcasm or you're for real.

- Wed., 07/13/11 - 10:10 AMGlad you pointed this out-- it's a 128 RBI pace. One could debate his RBIs are down due to not getting pitches, etc (as Conlin points out) but it's not a 140 pace.
