RE: Thanks Dave - You know, we had this discussion about taking down the earlier reviews before the site went life for the public. We decided against it for a couple reasons. First, Sandy signed her review with her real name, which we thought was enough disclosure. Also, the review was written in good faith: she was discussing an experience with parking in the city. I don't know if other Philly.com/Inquirer/Daily News people have posted, but I don't have a problem with it as long as their reviews are helpful; it's not like we're asking people to review the newspapers. People who work for PMH live in the city and deal with services just like everyone else, so I don't really see a conflict of interest here. -Dave Merrell
RE: Fishing for reviews? - Good catch, sdis1603. No conspiracy here, though - we starting testing the infrastructure for City Howl last spring, so there are reviews from before the launch on a couple locations.
