I've been watching the boys all year on season pass. The Boys are formidable when they want to play. Kitna is decent and for a backup he is above average. The problem for the Boys though is that they are not facing McNabb this year. Vick is on a mission and night time prime time is his personal platform. Vegas has the birds as a 3.5 favorite on the road. Whenever I have ever seen a line like this- a division rival against a good rival team on the road and favored by 3.5 points, it usually means the game isn't gone to live up to the hype. EAGLES COMING OFF OF 9 DAYS REST. Birds by double digits.

The Bengals played alright. Their defense was a good test for the birds. This game should make them better. After everything was said and done, it was 7 to 6 at half. Our young Eagles are only going to get better.

I think everyone who doesn't like the pick was just feeding into the media hype about Berry and Thomas. For as much as we needed a safety, we needed a defensive end more. Our pass rush sucked last year. We need to get to QB period. If he can create some chaos, he will make our defensive backfield better. Pressure baby pressure!

Everyone just relax. We won. McNabb's not the greatest qb, but he's pretty good. People need to realize that they're only maybe 7 franchise quarterbacks in the league and we have one of them. After that there is a big drop off.
