Strangefruit
Strangefruit is a Billie Holiday protest song and also the name selected by Philadelphia designer Kristin Haskins-Simms who's fashion-forward line of clothing provides a modern twist to historical fashion. The designer says that "A Strangefruit woman is exactly that. Strange! Strangefruit clothes are versatile and timeless that will never go out of style where you instantly become a fashion icon." The union of soft cotton jersey with contrasting leather details creates edgy yet wearable, feminine pieces.
