Principle above party / Reader Response

Hopefully, the three Republican moderates who voted against Trumpcare will serve as a wake-up call for the Republican Party.  Sens. Collins, Murkowski and McCain were courageous in placing country above party.  For the party to remain viable, it needs to get a bigger tent that includes moderates who are willing to cross the aisle for true bipartisanship.  Otherwise, we will perpetuate the political polarity and non-action we now have in Congress.
