Best option - give Clinton a try

Hillary Clinton may have her faults, but honoring her marriage vows should not bar her from election ("Don't play 'woman card' on Clinton," Oct. 18).

I've never liked Clinton, and I was prepared to vote Republican for one of the few times in my life, but Donald Trump is a disaster as a nominee and would be a worse disaster as president. Trump has proven that he's an immature, erratic, rich, spoiled little boy who's always gotten his way and expects to continue doing so regardless of the cost to others.

If voters can remember that in four years we can just as easily vote Clinton out, maybe they can make peace with it. Her errors in judgment on emails pale in comparison to the wreckage that is Trump's history. He may be good at making money for himself while ruining small businesses and allegedly assaulting women.

Sure, I wish Sen. Bernie Sanders was the nominee, or even Gov. John Kasich, but this is what we have. In this election, Clinton is the only reasonable, sane choice.

Rise up, women of America

This is an election in which women can determine the outcome of the race for president of the United States - if they vote. Each vote is a voice speaking out against all of the inequalities and indignities that women have endured: unequal pay, the glass ceiling, sexual harassment, and other forms of injustice, inequality, and abuse. Each and every vote counts and will make a difference. Every woman needs to speak out by voting her conscience.
