Little sympathy for dead dirt-biker & cops' inaction

BOY, I can't begin to express how "safe" I feel knowing that Philly's "finest" did squat about a group of illegal ATVs weaving dangerously in and out of traffic throughout the city on Oct. 21 - with news (and police!) helicopters following them.

But don't come to a complete stop at a stop sign in the city and they're right there to fine you $140.

Yup, love those priorities.

Where in the world do these unregistered drivers get off breaking the law?

Since when are you allowed to ride on the sidewalk, dart in and out of traffic and terrorize motorists?

Where is our great police chief, Mr. Ramsey, saying this is OK? I see a double standard here. Even motorcycle gangs rally but do it in a somewhat orderly manner. I saw this unfolding on TV and say: Shame on the police for allowing decent pedestrians and motorists to be exposed to this kind of reckless behavior.

One more thing: If Mr. Tyler was so loved, as someone said, why was he killed over a drug deal gone bad? Good people don't get involved with drugs.
